Quick-Seat Chair Takes A Fictional Trip In Dr. Who’s TARDIS

As a diehard fan of the legendary Dr. Who television series since the 1960’s and seeing every single episode ever made since then, it’s hard for me not to relate my TV/Movie world with my everyday reality, which is how the Quick-Seat Time Travel Chronicles got started a few years back, chronicling time travel adventures to distant places in time and space. It’s been a great hit on Pinterest. When I first came ‘on board’ the Quick-Seat Chair, I had to learn all of the things that make it unique and special. Simple things that make a difference. One of them is that when it’s not needed it folds back up all by itself taking up almost no floor space at all. Perfect for a time machine that is bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside in the form of a retro British police phone booth. The other thing that we emphasize is that a Quick-Seat Chair, is easy to install. You won’t have to head off to the nearest hardware store to buy a tool kit with an array of screwdrivers to put in a Quick-Seat Chair. And, that brings me back to our story.
Back inside the TARDIS which means, Time and Relative Distance in Space, we discover that although a TARDIS is the most highly sophisticated time travel machine in existence with every gadget and gizmo yet still unknown to science, regardless of which series from the 1960’s to the latest 2024 season, there is absolutely no where to sit. And, OK, if you’re working the time dials, I guess it’s normal to stand up, but do they do that in Star Trek? Have you ever seen Captain Kirk commanding the ship standing, NO! He always ‘engages’ the action from his rather large comfy Captain’s chair. And so has every other Sci-Fi spaceship captain. For some reason aboard the TARDIS, Dr. Who, and his companions and any guests who are aboard for the ride all have to stand. I could see right away where in the huge parameter of the inside of the TARDIS that there’s plenty of space where Quick-Seat Chairs could be installed and easily and efficiently just like they are here on Earth at the present time.
And now the best part. Dr. Who always has something he calls his “sonic screwdriver.” This screwdriver can do almost anything. Open doors, lock doors, stop angry alien monsters in their tracks, analysis various forms of matter. A very elaborate device, indeed. However, all its splendor, glory and technology, is wasted on the Quick-Seat Chair, as a simple screwdriver from your old tool kit in the garage will work just fine. You might say that in the world of Quick-Seat Chairs, the Sonic Screwdriver is over-kill or over-drill!
We know the efficacy of planting a Quick-Seat Chair in any space as well as outer-space. Because a Quick-Seat Chair is space-saving! No moving parts. No time dials to go wonky and no supersonic screwdrivers. Just a simple, sturdy, secure and safe place to sit, to hold you up. Quick-Seat Chairs open and close where no space-ship or TARDIS has ever gone before.
